Tiger-Streak 03 - Tenfold

Up next is Matt Marion aka Tenfold. Tenfold has the power to create clones of himself. Initially he can only create ten clones but as he gains more mastery of his powers this number grows. He can also use his cloning powers to sprout extra limbs off his main body. I think I originally wrote that he received his powers from some sci-fi medical procedure after being diagnosed with a life threatening disease. Revisiting Tenfold I’d like his backstory to be a bit more connected to the wider superhero universe of Tiger-Streak, so I think instead of some random life threatening disease perhaps he was injured in a supervillain attack, then received some bizarre medical treatment that no only healed him but gave him cloning superpowers. Then with his new abilities in hand he, rather recklessly, set out get payback on the villain who hurt him and maybe even succeeded in taking them down. This reckless, revenge-fueled heroism catches the notice of Tiger-Man who recruits him into Tiger-Streak. Tenfold’s backstory could also serve as a backdoor to other plots in Tiger-Streak story. Who exactly performed the procedure that gave him his powers? Are there others out there who have received powers from this person? Who knows. Quick note on his design. In the old drawings of Tenfold he never wore a mask, but revisiting the characters I want them all to be wearing a mask or eye covering of some kind. Below is a sketch of Tenfold from the 2010s.

Tiger-Streak 02 - Snelheid

The next member of Tiger-Streak is Brecht Moulin, aka Snelheid. Snelheid is a classic superhero speedster, with superhuman speed, endurance, and reflexes. Born in Belgium raised in New England, Brecht has had superpowers since birth, and comes from an entire family of superhumans with both of his parents and his siblings each having their own unique power. Despite coming from an entire family of superhumans he is the only member of his family interested in being a superhero. As a teenager Brecht used his powers to successfully stop a handful of small crimes in his home town up in Maine, but when he came face to face with his first supervillain, he got trounced. Worried he’d get himself killed if he kept up his heroics, his parents urged him to stop, but Brecht’s first taste of defeat only made him want the hero life even more. When superhero legend, Tiger-Man, caught wind of Brecht’s run-in with a supervillain he reached out the Moulins to invite Brecht to join his newly assembled team of superpowered proteges, Tiger-Streak. Knowing their son would be under the mentorship of one of the world’s most famous superheroes, Brecht’s parents gave him their blessing and allowed him to become Tiger-Streak’s second official member, Snelheid.
